The WSJ is reporting that Stephen King is to launch a book exclusively (or at least for a short period) on the Kindle today. Seems odd seeing as very few people have been able to buy a Kindle because ti has been sold out for most of the First generations life. I would have thought they would have waited until the K2 to be available before they dropped this bombshell. But we don't know what they are announcing today, maybe it is available today. We will see.
This is a serious change and it shows the power of Amazon. The publishers should be worried if this starts happening even more. I recommend that they start shipping digital copies with their hardcover books before people stop buying them all together.
